Signal to Sensation
Infectious Audio was built on a simple but enduring idea: when audio is crafted with intention, it doesn't just accompany an experience. It becomes part of how that experience is remembered.
Sound is invisible. Its impact isn't.
People experience audio emotionally long before they think about it technically. They don't notice great sound design — they feel it. It shapes how they read a scene, how they move through a space, how a moment lands and how long it stays with them. Audio is often the thing people notice only when it's missing.
Infectious Audio exists to close that gap — to bring craft, intention and genuine creative investment to every project, regardless of scale or sector. From sound design for film and live performance to bespoke audio experiences that preserve meaningful moments, the work is always guided by the same purpose: to create something people connect with emotionally and remember long after the moment has passed.
A Journey Through Sound
Infectious Audio is the work of Gareth Morris, a sound designer and audio producer who has always been fascinated by the way sound shapes human experience. His dedication to the craft continues to unfold across an ever-evolving journey with sound — how to sculpt it to tell a story? How to manipulate audio to immerse an audience in a moment?
Sound serves a fundamentally different purpose in a theatre than it does in a game, a film, or a heritage space — yet they are all centred around the same concept of delivering immersive experiences and emotive memories. Working across those disciplines has shaped a way of thinking about audio that is both technically grounded and creatively flexible, with the ability to move between worlds and understand what sound needs to do in each one.
Away from the studio, Gareth seeks out overlooked locations and environments to capture field recordings of the kinds of sounds that most people walk past without hearing. It's the same instinct that drives the work: a genuine fascination with the way sound shapes our emotions, memories and our perception.
The approach at Infectious Audio is straightforward.
Understand not just the technical delivery, but the human brief beneath it.
Communicate clearly. Collaborate honestly.
Deliver work that exceeds expectations — and earns the right to be remembered.
