Infectious Memories
Infectious Memories

When they can't make the journey, their voice still can.

A sister in Sydney. A brother in Toronto. The people an ocean away — recorded wherever they are, and woven into the keepsake of your day.

When the people you love are living abroad

NEAR AND FAR

Some moments are too important for distance to decide.

It's an Irish story as old as the country itself — the people you love most don't all live down the road. A sister settled in Sydney. A godparent working in Dubai. Cousins who grew up together and now wake up in different time zones. When the day comes — a wedding, a christening — the ones who shaped your life can't always travel home for it.

The day itself will be captured beautifully: photographed, filmed, remembered. But the voices of the people who couldn't travel are the easiest thing to lose, and often the thing you'd most want to keep.

Your keepsake is built from the voices in the room. Remote Voices simply widens the circle — so the family who couldn't travel are recorded wherever they are in the world, and become part of the keepsake alongside everyone who made it.

HOW IT WORKS

Recorded wherever they are, produced like everyone else

Some journeys are too far. A voice doesn't have to be.

1. I guide the recording

Once you tell me who can't travel, I reach out to them directly. It's usually done on a video call, or I send simple instructions so they can record on their phone — whatever suits them. No apps to learn, no studio needed. I make sure they feel relaxed and sound their best before recording anything worth keeping.

2. I produce it to the same standard

Their recording is cleaned, levelled and edited in studio, exactly like the voices captured in the room — never a raw, echoey phone clip. By the time it's finished, you can't tell who was across the other side of the table and who was across the other side of the world.

3. Their voice joins the keepsake

The finished recording is woven in alongside everyone who was there on the day, so the people who couldn't travel are part of the same piece — not a separate file added at the end.

Optional: some couples and parents choose to hear these messages for the first time on the day itself — a small planned moment when a voice from the other side of the world arrives. Entirely up to you.
