CHRISTENING AUDIO KEEPSAKES
Voices they can still hear from a day the won’t remember
Preserve the words, wishes and laughter of the people who welcomed your child into the world. Recordings are professionally captured and shaped into a private audio keepsake for them to listen back to in years to come.
A keepsake made for their future
Your child may be too young to remember their christening, but the people around them will have plenty to say to them.
Grandparents. Godparents. Brothers and sisters. Family and friends who have watched your family grow.
Infectious Memories gives them the chance to leave something more personal than a name in a guest book: their own voice, speaking directly to your child.
A message recorded now can become something very different years from today: a chance to hear the people who were there at the beginning, exactly as they sounded.
One service shaped around your christening
Every celebration is different, but the core experience stays simple.
Your Infectious Memories christening includes:
planning beforehand so the recording experience fits naturally around the day
a discreet, compact recording station at your celebration
carefully chosen prompts to help adults and younger guests get started
support during the recording period whenever it is required
professional review, cleanup and editing of the final recordings
a finished private audio keepsake created for your family to return to
Remote Voices and any additional ideas for your own audio keepsake can be discussed around what suits your family and the occasion.
How it works
1. Before the christening
We’ll talk through your plans, where the celebration is taking place and the people you would particularly like to encourage to leave a message.
If family or godparents cannot attend, we can also arrange their Remote Voices contributions beforehand.
2. On the day
A discreet recording station is positioned in a suitable part of the celebration.
Guests can choose from carefully selected prompts or simply speak in their own words, leaving a wish, memory, piece of advice or message for your child’s future.
Prompts can also help younger guests take part naturally in their own way.
3. After the christening
Every recording is reviewed and professionally prepared, with the voices cleaned, balanced and thoughtfully brought together into a finished listening experience.
Your completed keepsake is then delivered privately to you, ready to listen to now or keep for the years ahead.
A gift like no other
Infectious Memories does not have to be arranged by the parents.
A grandparent, godparent or close family member can organise the keepsake as a christening gift, creating something for the child that becomes more meaningful as the years pass.
If you would like to arrange it as a surprise, tell me when you enquire and I can discuss how to keep the planning discreet.
A place in the story, wherever they are
A godparent in Sydney. An aunt in Toronto. Family in Boston.
The people who'd give anything to be there as your child is welcomed into the world.
For many families, not everyone who matters can make the journey. Families grow across countries and continents, and sometimes the people you'd most love there with you simply can't be there in person.
With Remote Voices, grandparents, godparents, relatives and friends elsewhere in Ireland or overseas can record a message from wherever they are.
Their recording is professionally prepared and included naturally alongside the voices captured on the day, giving them a place in the keepsake even when they cannot be there in person.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
They don’t need to prepare anything.
Carefully chosen prompts give people an easy starting point, whether they want to leave a simple wish, offer some advice, share a memory or say something for your child to hear when they are older.
Guests are also completely free to ignore the prompts and speak in their own words.
-
Absolutely.
Younger brothers, sisters, cousins and friends can leave some of the most distinctive recordings. Simple age-appropriate prompts help them take part without expecting them to speak like adults.

Every message is reviewed before the finished keepsake is created.
Anything clearly inappropriate, unusable or not in keeping with the occasion can be left out. If there is anything particular you would like me to be aware of, we can discuss it beforehand.
